We provide specialist education for young people aged 11-18 (secondary school age through to sixth form). We offer 40 day placements for students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
All placements are funded through an Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP) via your Local Authority. You'll need to ask your LA to consult with us and name Changing Lives in the EHCP. We cannot accept privately funded placements. Learn more about admissions →
We offer a unique animal-assisted curriculum including education through horses (BHS qualifications), dogs, and small animals, alongside core subjects (English, Maths, Science), horticulture, and real-world work experience. Explore our curriculum →
Absolutely! We encourage parents and carers to visit and see our facilities. We hold regular Open Evenings throughout the year, or you can arrange a personal visit. Book a visit →
Transport is arranged by your Local Authority once we are named in the EHCP. Eligibility varies by LA policy. Please discuss transport arrangements with your Local Authority during the admissions process.
Our school hours are Monday to Friday, 10am – 6pm. We follow the standard UK term dates with breaks for half-terms and holidays. View term dates →
Safeguarding is our highest priority. We have a dedicated safeguarding team led by our Designated Safeguarding Lead. All staff are trained in child protection. Anyone can report a concern through our confidential form. Learn about safeguarding →
