Celebrating Student Success: Qualifications 2025/26
We are proud to celebrate another year of positive student outcomes, with significant growth in the number of qualifications achieved across GCSE, Functional Skills and vocational pathways.
For the first time, GCSE examinations were delivered on site, enabling more students to access nationally recognised qualifications in English, Mathematics and Science. Nine students were entered for GCSEs, compared with just two students the previous year, representing a substantial increase in participation and opportunity.
Alongside GCSEs, all 18 students entered for Functional Skills qualifications achieved at least one accredited qualification. There was a particularly strong increase in the number of Level 2 qualifications achieved in both English and Mathematics, demonstrating students' growing confidence and success in core subjects.
Our vocational curriculum also continued to flourish. Students achieved qualifications in Employability Skills, Animal Care, Horse Care and King's Trust programmes, with many progressing to higher-level awards than those achieved in previous years.
The introduction and growth of Level 2 vocational qualifications highlight the increasing ambition and progression within our curriculum pathways.

These results reflect the hard work, resilience and determination of our students, alongside the dedication of staff in supporting every learner to achieve meaningful and personalised outcomes. Overview for KS4 and KS5: 2025/2026
GCSE outcomes demonstrate successful achievement across English, Mathematics and Science, with the strongest pass rate seen in KS4 Science (67%). Entry Level qualifications continue to provide an important pathway for students, with 19 qualifications achieved across English, Mathematics and Science, reflecting strong progress and inclusive accreditation opportunities.

KS4 and KS5 Functional Skills English, Maths and Science
Eighteen students were entered for Functional Skills exams in 2025/26. All eighteen students achieved at least one Functional Skills qualification.
Functional Skills exams were conducted for English and Maths through Open Awards and the AQA Entry Level Certificate was conducted for the first year in science.

Vocational Subjects
Students participate in numerous vocational subjects to complement their learning. Vocational courses are undertaken through City & Guilds, Open Awards and King's Trust.

Building upon another successful year of qualifications, we are excited to further enhance our curriculum offer in 2026/27. Students will benefit from new qualification pathways including GCSE Statistics, GCSE English Literature and a Level 3 Dog Grooming vocational programme. These additions reflect our commitment to providing personalised, ambitious and meaningful learning opportunities that prepare students for their next steps in education, employment and independent adulthood.
