Personal Development
Understanding ourselves, others and the world around us.
We focus on students’ personal, social, physical, spiritual, moral and cultural development, incorporating key areas such as British Values, citizenship, RSE, PSHE, character education and careers education.
Our personal development curriculum reinforces students’ understanding of themselves, others and the world around them. It supports them throughout their time with us and into their future, enabling them to become safe, resilient, reflective and active citizens.
Our Changing Lives lessons focus on developing the skills of reflection, oracy, empathy, respect, resilience and citizenship, alongside their knowledge of citizenship, careers, relationships and sex education, and health and wellbeing.
- Rooted in our values of kindness, respect and resilience
- Prepared for life in modern Britain
- Reflection, oracy, empathy and citizenship
- Enriched by vocational, outdoor and community days
